Our Story

SEA-EL started with something surfers have always noticed: skin feels better after time in the water. In 2010 we set out to put that in a bottle — clean ingredients, honest prices, and kelp doing the work. Still family-owned, still in Carlsbad.

Different kelps for different jobs

Not all seaweed does the same thing, so we don't use just one. Sugar Kelp holds hydration against skin. Fermented Bull Kelp supports a healthy-feeling barrier. Irish Moss leaves skin soft and smooth. Each formula is built around the kelp that fits what your skin needs, so every product does its job without asking you to compromise on clean ingredients.
